Langkawi Trip: Day 2 Part 1 - Island Hopping

Early in the morning, had breakfast at a stall nearby the hotel. Our hotel is located in Pantai Cenang, so it is very near to Underwater World, the place to gather to depart for Island Hopping trip. We pre-book the island hopping trip together with car rental, so we manage to rent a boat for 11 pax at RM270. Quite a deal if you calculate per pax (around RM25).

All getting ready for the trip....

Around 9am, we met with the tour agent and depart to a beach near to Awana Porto Malai to board the boat. In this island hopping package, it includes visiting 3 islands and eagle feeding.
First stop, we went to Pulau Beras Basah and were left on the island for 1 hour. (Imagining that we were the "LOST" cast surviving in the island for 1 hour... haha) What we do over there? Erm, basically nothing much besides swimming, or more of playing in the water as I don't really know how to swim.
Next stop, our boat guy came and fetch us to another island.
Well, not really stopping on an island, but just watching eagle feeding session on Pulau Singa Besar. Basically is the boat guy drop some chicken skins/flesh/feets (couldn't really recall, but it looks like skin to me) into the water and he drove the boat a distance away. Then, these eagles will fly down getting its meal.
A bonus to us is a visit to the bat cave. On the caves wall, basically if you look up, you will notice the bats sticking itself on the wall.
Last stop, we drop by Pulau Dayang Bunting. Before reaching the island, you can see there's a shape that resembles a pregnant lady laying down with the head facing up.
One incident happen whereby the bread which we bought was robbed by the monkey in a broad daylight. Funny thing is my friend's bf, Neo, ran after it in his swimming trunk carrying a backpack. And lucky for that monkey to climb up the tree and escaped. Monkeys here are quite daring and clever. Look at how they open up this Mr Potato can and take his bite.
In this island, we rent a paddle boat manual for RM15 and enjoying the view. The weather was hot, so paddling for 30 minutes can actually burn your legs. (it did burn my bf and my legs). If paddling is not really prefered, you can rent a solar boat where you don't need to paddle at all. It is double the price of the manual paddle boat (RM30). ^_^. There's also canoeing available at this spot (RM15 for 30 minutes).
It's like a trend nowadays in most of the tourist spots whereby there will be a photographer taking photos of you, and before leaving the place, they will print it out, put it into a momentos and sell it to you. So, if next time you decide to keep it as a souvenir, remember to smile to the camera. ^_^
