Little Daniel's Journal: Marble Maze Run

This marble maze run is fun, entertaining for little D. Building the maze is fun too, with whatever bricks left as most of the pieces are all over the house now 🤣

Little D's New Shoe

Finally spent my Bata RM80 vouchers from Back2School and gotten little D his favorite pair of shoes... it’s Thomas & Friends blue colour shoes with light. Thank you so much Bata for allowing the extension of voucher until end of May 2020 due to MCO.

Cute little pair of Thomas & Friends kids shoe for my little D. It can light up too, nice design from Bata Malaysia. This design comes in blue and red colour. Gotten the blue one as it’s D’s favorite color. 💕

He loves it so much that he wears it at home now and gets delighted when seeing the beautiful lights up as he walks/runs around.

Definitely cheer him up as he’s looking forward to wear it to go to school with MCO is lifted and school reopens.

Meanwhile, let’s stay home and stay safe while enjoying the new shoe with little D. 🥰

Nihoma Waterbar Pro (Product Review)

Hi all, today I wanted to share with you Nihoma Waterbar Pro, a tankless instant hot & cold water purifier system.

I have actually used this for about 3 months now and I find that after changing my conventional water purifier to this, it helps to saves me more time and I have clean water to consume instantly.
It uses 5 stage filtration system to remove 99.999% of water contaminants and leave the healthy minerals needed by our bodies.

How I got to know if this brand? I joined one of their giveaway contest last year and I’m so blessed to have won the Waterbar mini version. And Zeon was very kind enough to offered me an upgrade by just paying the difference of the two models. So here we go, we opted for this Waterbar pro version which comes with the hot and cold water feature. 🥰

Okay, let me go through some of the feature I feel useful.
💧It’s tankless technology, which means no stagnant water contains inside the machine.
💧 3 seconds instant hot water, so you can skip boiling water and make a cup of Milo instantly.
💧 Intelligent temperature control system, with 3 level of temperature (40, 70 and 80 Celsius)
💧 Energy saving of up to 80% electricity consumption, I still benchmarking at the moment to ensure accuracy
💧 Less hassle on regular maintenance service and you can do it by yourself

💧 It has touch sensor, and also a safety lock to prevent kids to accidentally pressed on the hot water button.

Another plus point I love is their customer service during the installation, and regular calls to check if everything is alright.

Little D's first week to school

Writing down the daily logs of my little Daniel's journal...

2/24/2020:
1st day to play-school, he's eager to go to school. I guess it's because he watched Masha and the bear cartoon series and there's one episode about going to school. He happily changed into the school uniform and waited for us to get ready and drop him there.
When we reach the front entrance, he started crying... 😅, I think partly maybe due to new environment, strange faces and separation anxiety... Guess this mama thinks too much... but I hope that he can adapt well soon and getting used to the new place to learn new things and make new friends.

Learning to put ball into the container

2/25/2020:
Wakes up early in the morning at 6am as he slept quite early yesterday. So as usual, some Masha time before going out from the home and going to kindy. He cries when going in and when we picked him up.

Hello, I'm Daniel =)

2/26/2020:
It's 3rd day to school, he still cries when going into the centre, but he waves goodbye to us, it's a good sign that he's liking to go there. Let's wait and get updates from teacher Grace in the Whatsapp group 😃

Let's do some fun drawing

2/27/2020:
This morning daddy carry and dropped him in while mummy waited in the car. He didn't cry that much, and teacher carry him in. Getting better and accepting going to school 😊

Putting egg on the spoon

2/28/2020:
Yay it's Friday and the 5th day to school. Today mummy dropped him at the centre as daddy droves another car, so that we can go pick up his porridge separately after work. Reaching the front door, he didn't cry and let teacher Christine to carry him in. I can see that he start to loves the kindy and looking forward to go to school.
Teacher Christine told me that little D loves playground a lot, and he can climb and play by himself. Playground helps to build they muscle and their fine motor skills.

He survived play school :)

Let's enjoy his video taken by the teacher:

Children's education fund: SSPN and SSPN-i

Savings is important in preparing for Daniel’s future education, and so I started to save into SSPN-I since last year. These savings are tax deductible too, for up to RM8000 per year. 🤩

I went to one of the branch today and got to know that they are having the year end lucky draw worth RM1.1 million and also gotten this SSPN coin box for my boy.

Malaysia's Fastest Absorbing Diaper Pants

Yay, time flies and my baby’s 11 months old now. From the stage of laying down, rolling over, crawling and now he has started to stand up and move a few steps with support. 👶🏻

All this while, we used diapers tape type as baby will just lie down when we are changing his diapers. But as he is getting more and more mobile, this daily routine has been a challenging task. I read a bit about the diapers pants type and found that it is actually good to start changing to the pants type as diaper pants give them the freedom to move around and I can actually change the diapers while he is standing up.

So… I started survey for diapers pants type and I found this very interesting video. Watch the video to see the results of the experiment.

I’m amazed when I see the results on how Huggies is Malaysia’s Fastest Absorbing Diaper Pants where it can absorb quickly into the diapers. I went further to google and found this link which tells me more about Huggies.

a.       Get the best fit for baby with enhanced stretch and elasticity. We’ve specially designed Huggies® Dry Pants to fit comfortably in 5 areas: waist at tummy, waist at back, both legs and crotch.
