iPhone 11 Pro Max vs iPhone 12 Pro Max

Can you tell which one is iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Pro Max?

From far, both looks the same if you don't really pay too much attention.

Lets take a closer look on the outer appearance:

Size: The first thing you will notice that iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7") is slightly bigger compare to iPhone 11 Pro Max (6.5"), a difference of 0.2".

Display: iPhone 12 Pro Max are also upgraded to Ceramic Shield display which is said to have better drop protection compare to iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Edge: The edges on 12 Pro Max are more squarish compare to 11 Pro Max which has more curved edges

Sim Card Tray: It got moves from the right hand side for 11 Pro Max to the left hand side for 12 Pro Max.

Weight: 12 Pro Max is 2g heavier than 11 Pro Max

The left side with the silent switch and volume button and Sim Card Tray for 12 Pro Max

The right side with the Power Sleep Wake button and Sim Card Tray for 11 Pro Max

What about the inside?

Chip: A14 Bionic chip vs A13 Bionic chip

Capacity: 12 Pro Max starts from 128GB, 256GB and 512GB while 11 Pro Max starts from 64GB, 256GB and 512GB.
